Text Message Terms of Use
We generally do not communicate with clients via text message. However, if you explicitly request or consent to receive text messages, we may use the phone number you provide to deliver necessary updates through RCS, SMS, MMS, or similar text messaging services. These text messages we send are limited in nature and may include:
- Service Updates: Important, non-promotional text messages related to the legal services you are receiving, such as confirmations, notifications, delivery updates, or policy changes.
- Appointment Reminders: Reminders for scheduled meetings, consultations, or deadlines you’ve asked us to confirm via text.
We will never send promotional or marketing text messages.
By providing us with your phone number, initiating communication with us using text messages, or otherwise agreeing to receive text messages from or on behalf of Fidara Legal, you expressly consent to us communicating with you by using text messages. Please note that message and data rates may apply. You also expressly consent to us communicating with you through text messages which may utilize or be sent using an automated system and/or any other type of systems, software, hardware, or machines (no matter how they may be named or classified, and whether used alone or in conjunction with one another) that may use an automated procedure or process for sending text messages, at the phone number associated with your opt-in. We do not share your mobile opt-in or text message consent with third parties, unless reasonably necessary to provide the services requested.
You may opt out of receiving text messages from us at any time by notifying us, and your consent to receive text messages is not required and is not a condition to use our services.
How to Opt-Out
If you want to opt-out of receiving text messages from us, you can text us with the word “STOP” to opt out of receiving text communications. You understand that the text message program may not recognize and respond to unsubscribe requests that contain words or phrases other than those set forth above and agree that Fidara Legal and its service providers will have no liability for failing to honor such requests. Note: You may receive an additional text message after texting us the word “STOP” confirming your decision to opt-out.
